Bifold movie theater newsletter from the age of silent film. •2 leaves, 4 pp. measures 5.5 x 8.5". •Several b/w illustrations from photos. Newsletter heralding coming and current attractions from a film theater in Cleveland, Ohio, managed by Thomas Carrol. It also has film celebrity news. In this era, theaters staged vaudeville and other acts in addition to films, so some of these are also covered. This issue promoted "Reno Divorce" (with Ralph Graves and May McAvoy) on the cover. The film also starred Hedda Hopper and Robert Ober. Since this was a silent film, a Vitaphone Symphony Orchestra accompanied the showings. Other films advertised include "Speedy", in production with Harold Lloyd, Mary Pickford in "My Best Girl", Pola Negri in "A Woman on Trial", and Helene Costello in "In Old Kentucky" with James Murray and Wesley Barry. A vaudeville singing and dancing act, "Lenora's Jewels", is featured, along with a radio orchestra called "George Williams and his Music Makers". Special attention is paid to "Karney's Quartette", which had a Spanish novelty stage act.
